Lumia Paw is a small Canadian shop, not a lab or a clinic. We don't list whatever a supplier sends us — here is exactly how we decide what earns a place in the catalog, and what gets cut.

Four checks, no exceptions

If a product fails any one of these, we don't sell it — no matter how good the margins look.

Materials & safety

Pet-safe, non-toxic materials only. Supplements must come with a full ingredient list we can publish — if a supplier can't document what's inside, it doesn't go up.

Supplier vetting

We order from established suppliers with verifiable track records, consistent ratings, and real fulfilment history — not whoever is cheapest this week.

Accurate listings

Sizes, measurements, and photos on our product pages are checked against the manufacturer's specs. What you see is what arrives — and if it isn't, that's covered by our guarantee.

The returns test

Every product carries our 30-day money-back guarantee. Anything that gets returned too often, or disappoints the pets it was made for, gets delisted. Simple as that.

How a product makes it onto the site

Shortlist We hunt for gear that solves a real problem for dogs and cats — not novelty filler.
Vet the supplier Track record, ratings, fulfilment times, and responsiveness. Weak suppliers are the #1 cause of bad pet products, so most candidates die here.
Check specs & materials Materials, ingredient lists, measurements, and weight limits get reviewed line by line before we write a single word of the listing.
Write an honest listing No miracle claims, no invented reviews, no fake discounts. The product page says what the product does — nothing more.
Watch and cut After launch we track delivery times, customer messages, and returns. Products that underperform get pulled from the catalog.

We're a new store, and we'd rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.
